Hyderabad: Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has warned that no amount of political conspiracy or alleged false propaganda on social media would prevent the government from exposing the alleged irregularities committed by the “Doras” (feudal lords) under the Dharani land records portal.

In a strongly worded post on X on Sunday, the minister launched a scathing attack on former Minister and BRS leader Harish Rao, accusing him of resorting to personal attacks, conspiracies and misinformation in his pursuit of political power.

Ponguleti alleged that Harish Rao was attempting to hijack the BRS and said his political conduct reflected a willingness to “stoop to any level” for power and money. Referring to recent allegations made by Kalvakuntla Kavitha, he claimed that the revelation about alleged occult rituals intended to harm former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s health demonstrated the “depravity” of Harish Rao’s character.

The minister also accused Harish Rao of spreading falsehoods on a daily basis to divert attention from alleged irregularities. He further alleged that Harish Rao had misused his position as a minister during the BRS regime to run a milk business with hospitals for personal profit.

Ponguleti recalled Harish Rao’s alleged role in what he described as “corpse politics” and criticised him for allegedly misleading the youth during the BRS government.

“Remember this—no matter how many conspiracies you hatch or how much false propaganda you spread daily through paid social media, the massive plunder committed by the Doras under the guise of the Dharani portal will certainly be exposed,” Ponguleti said. The Revenue Minister also asserted that the Congress government, led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, remained committed to fulfilling its promises to the people. He said the government was working to realise the dream of housing for the poor through the construction of Indiramma Houses and would strive to make Telangana “hut-free.”

Ponguleti said political conspiracies would not deter the government from pursuing its agenda of public welfare and delivering what he termed good and effective governance.
